On the 16th of May«Test-St.-Petersburg»hosted the conference «Reform of the accreditation system in the Russian Federation: problems and prospects», organized by the Federal Accreditation Service, Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology supported by the Government of St. Petersburg, the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation, Consumers Union of Russia  and the Russian Academy of Sciences.

An important event of the conference was the signing of a Memorandum of understanding between the Federal Accreditation Service and the German National Accreditation Body. The Memorandum has already become the twelfth agreement between the Federal Accreditation Service with foreign partners. According to the Memorandum RusAccreditation and DAkkS will be able to exchange information and analytical materials on issues of accreditation and examine best practices as well as implementation of joint programs of personnel training and exchange of experts. In addition, the document provides for the possible participation of parties in accreditation and inspection supervision of the organizations held in the territory of the two states as well as joint assessments.
